WHAT WE DO
Three Birds One Stone is a social enterprise that aims to generate sustainable employment for vulnerable people in Cambodia while also supporting projects that benefit local communities.
We do this by establishing and supporting community owned and run cooperatives to produce high quality clothing and fashion accessories. Wherever we can, we focus on employment for the most vulnerable individuals in society, including those living with disabilities resulting from land mines or polio, those who have contracted HIV/AIDS and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
By purchasing directly from these groups and helping them tailor products to western tastes, we can utilise their exceptional tailoring and craftmanship skills and bring their work to a global market.
We also make washable sanitary pads from our waste fabric and give these to young girls who are unable to attend school simply because they lack menstrual pads. This simple measure helps improve attendance rates and education outcomes for young girls, who are among the most vulnerable groups in Cambodia and neighbouring countries.
100% of our profits are donated to grass roots projects that better the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, so we partner with other social enterprises working to improve education, healthcare, clean water and sustainable agriculture in priority locations.
